Job summary

Quevera in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Database Engineer focused on MongoDB who holds an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. You will design, implement, and optimize database structures and data flows to support the Secure the Enterprise program.

The role spans developing Python-based REST endpoints with Django or Flask, integrating MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, and delivering JSON to UI front ends while advancing automation and monitoring across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Database Engineering experience in a similar scope.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; degree may be substituted with 5 years DBE experience.
• Experience with MongoDB deployment, debugging, and scaling.
• Strong Python REST endpoints development with Django or Flask.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis.
• Develop or maintain database structures to fit within the overall architecture of the system.
• Create new workflows and handle break/fix requests or updates.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Support Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management with Django and Flask.
• Support capabilities that interact with MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send requested data in JSON to UI front ends.
