Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Systems Administrator in Odenton, MD with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support Fort Meade operations. The role involves the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure across client, server, storage, and network environments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of system administration experience, a technical Bachelor's degree (or 5 years substitute), and hands-on scripting with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years substitution).
• 10 years of System Administrator experience.
• 2 years of automation scripting experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Responsibilities

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system operations and diagnose issues across client, server, storage, and network components.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users accessing IT systems.
• Escalate technical issues and communicate system status to management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch and resolution of system and hardware issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX, Windows, and other operating systems; install and maintain OS software.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network components and improve reliability and performance.
• Assist ISSOs and lead Software Engineers with timely updates to security software/hardware/firmware.
