Job summary

SciPlay is seeking a Monetization Analyst to drive data-informed decisions for its social/mobile games. You will analyze monetization metrics, run tests, and present insights to management.

Responsibilities include writing efficient HQL/SQL queries, performing statistical analysis, and creating weekly status reports. A Bachelor’s in a quantitative field and 3+ years analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or relevant area.
• 3+ years of professional analytics, statistics or engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL/HQL/MySQL and data analysis tools.

Position Summary

The Monetization Analyst is responsible for supplying analysis and direction to fellow team members in order to improve key performance indicators and is also responsible for weekly deliverables, which is an opportunity to present analysis on test results and recommended areas of focus to management.

Essential Job Functions

• Query databases with efficient HQL/SQL queries
• Analyze query results using Excel or other statistical tools
• Create weekly presentations to report status of Social/Mobile games to management
• A/B Test status reporting
• Identify areas of opportunity from analysis and brainstorm creative solutions with team
• Ad hoc Reporting

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or relevant area

Required Experience: 3+ years of professional analytics, statistics or engineering experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• SQL/HQL/MySQL
• Understanding of relational databases
• Excel
• Other statistical analysis tools a plus (e.g. Minitab, SAS, R, etc.)
• Presenting analysis in a group setting
• Clear and effective communication of complex ideas and analysis
• Ability to work with little direction, self-directed
• General understanding of programming concepts and methodology a plus
• Agile/Scrum software development experience is a plus
• Critical thinking and creative problem solving
