Job summary

Cascade Die Casting Group in High Point, NC is seeking a Furnace Tender for the Atlantic division. Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.
• Forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate remelt furnaces to maintain specified temperatures per work instructions.
• Load, unload and deliver molten metal using a forklift.
• Maintain cleanliness of remelt and holding furnaces and flux machine.
• Record weights and enter work orders into QAD.
• Read, comprehend and follow standardized work instructions.
• Cross-train as required and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Work safely around heavy equipment and at high temperatures.
• Report unsafe conditions and equipment defects to supervision.
