MHM Solutions, a Centurion Health company, seeks a Microbiologist II to join the Department of Laboratories– Exton, PA. The role reports to a Microbiology Supervisor and collaborates with AMD coordinators and public health teams to perform molecular testing and ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities include real-time PCR/dPCR for SARS-CoV-2, QA/QC, LIMS data handling, training new staff, and providing customer service to submitting agencies.

Competenze

• One year of professional laboratory work experience in microbiology.
• Bachelor’s degree including 20 microbiology/cellular/molecular biology or bacteriology credits and 12 chemistry/biochemistry credits.
• Experience with sequencing is required.

Mansioni

• Perform molecular techniques using real-time PCR or digital PCR for detection of SARS-CoV-2 and other public health agents.
• Conduct pre-analytical checks and water concentration processing (filtering/centrifugation).
• Apply QA checks and assist in interpretation and troubleshooting to ensure accurate results.
• Evaluate new procedures, methods, equipment and reagents for performance and improvement.
• Use LIMS to track specimens and report results to public health partners.
• Participate in proficiency testing and maintain CLIA compliance.
• Provide technical consultation and training to staff and partner agencies.
