Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Molecular Laboratory Technician to independently perform routine and advanced molecular testing, including DNA/RNA extraction and PCR. The role requires CLIA-compliant knowledge and relevant academic credentials.

You will maintain thorough records and support procedural development in a fast-paced clinical environment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, plus 1–2 years of laboratory experience, strong English

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral degree in Medical Technology or related field (as per CLIA 42 CFR 493.1489).
Associate’s degree with required science coursework plus 3 months training in each high-complexity testing specialty.
Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex molecular testing including DNA/RNA extraction and PCR.
Record, compile and maintain records per lab policies and ensure state/federal compliance.
Develop, evaluate, and implement new procedures and protocols.
Maintain patient confidentiality and coordinate communications with physicians and staff.
Participate in educational activities and other related duties as required.
