Overview

Blue Earth Diagnostics, a subsidiary of Bracco Imaging, is a global company advancing precision molecular imaging to support timely decisions and better patient outcomes. Founded in 2014, we work closely with clinicians and collaborators, bringing deep expertise to the development and delivery of positron emission tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals. Our growing portfolio helps uncover disease sooner and guide treatment choices across multiple disease states, including oncology and cardiology. We deliver clear answers when decisions matter most. The Molecular Imaging Account Manager, Oncology is responsible for sales activities related to FDA approved, commercialized Blue Earth Diagnostics products within an assigned geography. The ideal candidate is responsible for promoting POSLUMA, developing opportunities and growing and maintaining product utilization among targeted healthcare providers and administrators that are evaluating and managing prostate cancer patients. The Molecular Imaging Account Manager, Oncology will manage a diverse range of customers via multiple settings, develop thought leader relationships, facilitate collaboration and communication among customers, and understand and convey patient flow and referral networks across physicians involved in evaluation and treatment decisions. This is a new selling environment requiring sales professionals to learn to navigate complex environments. The incumbent may also represent Blue Earth Diagnostics at medical professional conferences, distributor meetings, internal company events, and other appropriate venues. The territory focus for this role is Columbus, Ohio; candidates located in or familiar with this region are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Implement sales strategies at the account and territory level.
  • Develop productive, professional business relationships with institutions, key prospective product users, and purchasing influencers.
  • Take responsibility for achieving defined product sales forecast.
  • Own the territory business development strategy, including referring physician specialties (urology, oncology, and radiation oncology), hospital or independent PET imaging centers, and authorized suppliers.
  • Understand and comply with provider institutional policies related to access and the introduction, education, evaluation, and usage of new pharmaceutical products (e.g., formulary, vendor access).
  • Comply with policies within each institution governing the activities of sales representatives.
  • Manage all activities within the defined expense budget unless directed otherwise.
  • Communicate progress, accomplishments, needs, and key observations related to the product, competition, and market dynamics with the manager.
  • Ensure that only approved and current sales materials and messages are used.
  • Manage relationships and activities with distributors and promotional partners.
  • Maintain familiarity with pharmacovigilance policies and promptly report any product adverse events through appropriate channels.
  • Learn and pass assessments; maintain knowledge related to job responsibilities, products, and disease states.
  • Identify key issues and deliver efficient responses to business development opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as determined by business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, health science, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven successful pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with imaging centers and key referring customers (Radiation Oncology, Urology, Oncology).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with high-level medical professionals, such as physicians, administrators, and department managers.
  • Frequent domestic travel is required (up to 50% depending on geography).
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships quickly across broad global constituencies with competing priorities.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills; team player.
  • Experience with cross-functional and highly matrixed organizations.
Compensation

Annual Salary: $135,000 - $165,000
