Job summary

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Animal Industry, seeks a Laboratory Professional for the BADDL. You will perform molecular tests, including DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/qPCR, within BSL2/BSL3 environments and enter results in LIMS. Safety and accuracy are paramount.

You will coordinate with the Section Head, maintain quality standards, and participate in protocol development and staff training as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s in biological/physical/natural/agricultural sciences with 2 years of related experience; or master’s with 1 year; or doctorate.
