Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking an MDx R&D Technician to perform molecular diagnostics protocols including nucleic acid extraction, reverse transcription, and analysis of results. The role requires pro-active problem solving in a fast-paced diagnostics environment.

The successful candidate will conduct real-time PCR analyses, support ddPCR and sequencing workflows, and assist with lab maintenance, quality control, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Molecular Biology or related field; Bachelor's considered
• Typically 1–3 years of PCR-related lab experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain quality procedures

Responsibilities

• Follow and perform protocols for molecular diagnostics techniques
• Perform real-time PCR (qPCR) analysis and report results
• Possibly perform ddPCR and sequencing protocols
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with QC/ calibration
• Collaborate with peers and participate in lab improvement initiatives
