• Sets strategy with Directors and Division Leadership to meet current and future needs in molecular diagnostics.
• Ensures development and validation practices meet regulatory requirements, and confirms test performance characteristics are documented.
• Demonstrates competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
• Provides internal and external consultation as required by CLIA.
• Ensures enrollment in CAP-approved proficiency testing and timely submission of Technical Assessments for MolDx.
• Establishes a quality control program and maintains analytic performance throughout the testing process.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, performance evaluations, policy development, and payroll oversight.
• Delivers leadership to the unit/team and aligns goals with organizational priorities.
