Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences; 1 year of molecular biology lab experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cell culture media for experiments.
• Perform cloning, e.g. seamless cloning, and verify plasmid sequence.
• Perform PCR and DNA purification for molecular cloning.
• Perform mammalian and bacterial cell cultures.
• Purify recombinant proteins/antibodies by affinity tag.
• Perform protein SDS-PAGE and DNA agarose gel.
• Document experiments and generate reports with other research staff.
• Maintain DNA inventory, lab equipment and supplies.
• Assist in troubleshooting experiments and developing new procedures.
