Job summary

You will design experiments, perform cloning, PCR, mutagenesis, sequencing, and protein expression with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes hands-on molecular biology, protein engineering, purification using ÄKTA where applicable, data analysis, and clear scientific reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related with 1–2+ years lab experience OR Bachelor's with 3+ years lab experience.
• Hands-on molecular biology experience; strong cloning, PCR, mutagenesis, sequencing skills.
• Experience with proteins and bacterial functional screening systems; protein expression and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Independently design experimental plans to support product and technology development.
• Execute lab experiments, analyze data, and draw scientifically sound conclusions.
• Develop lab protocols, technical reports, and quantitative analyses.
• Troubleshoot complex experimental challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Implement new methods and technologies to improve workflows.
• Perform molecular biology techniques: cloning, PCR, mutagenesis, sequencing.
• Express, purify, and characterize proteins; perform activity assays.
• Maintain lab notebooks and present data to internal teams.
