Job summary

Momentum Staffing Group LLC seeks a Molecular Biologist to join a fast-growing biotechnolog y team. You will develop and implement molecular and cell based assays to support drug development, working with scientists on a range of projects from routine to non-routine analysis.

You will express, purify and characterize proteins, and perform ELISA and Western blotting as part of your daily work. 1-2 years of research experience is required, with a BS/MS in Biology or related field.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related science.
• 1-2 years of research experience (academia or industry).
• Protein expression, purification and characterization experience.
• Experience with qPCR and SDS-Page.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement molecular and cell based assays in support of drug development.
• Work with scientists on projects of varying complexity including routine and non-routine analysis.
• Express, purify and characterize proteins.
• Perform ELISA and western blotting.
