Job summary

The Research Specialist I will work closely with the Principal Investigator to generate molecular biology reagents and help with animal experiments for the different projects for the lab.

The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge about DNA processing, molecular cloning, flow cytometry, and mouse imaging. Responsibilities include molecular cloning, PCR, and measuring antitumor activity in mice.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: high school diploma and two years of work experience in a clinical or research setting; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for the two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Molecular cloning, PCR and measuring antitumor activity in mice.
• Mouse work: keep records, monitor mice, measure BLI and assist in tumor collection.
• Laboratory operations: organize space and track reagents and materials; receive lab orders.
