Job summary

The Research Specialist II at MUSC will work in the Zhang laboratory to perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, including mammalian cell culture, data analysis, and preparation of reports. You will contribute to cancer and genome stability research in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include designing experiments, performing PCR, cloning, Western blotting and related assays, and maintaining detailed lab records to support ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field.
• Hands-on molecular and cellular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, Western blotting, mammalian cell culture, microscopy).
• Master’s degree or equivalent research experience preferred.
