Sunseeker Property Service is seeking a Molecular and Cellular Biologist to design and execute experiments involving CHO cell cultures for multi-omics analyses. The role requires strong data analysis, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and rigorous documentation.

The position offers hourly compensation of $27.35–$30.10, with overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits. A bachelor's or master's in a relevant field is required, with 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Molecular and Cellular Biologist $27.35 - $30.10/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute molecular and cellular biology experiments involving the transfection, passaging, and sampling of CHO cell cultures to generate substrate for multi-omics analyses.
• Design and execute experiments to examine gene copies, transcript levels, protein folding, assembly, trafficking, secretion, and degradation.
• Analyze and interpret data using statistical, bioinformatics, and pathway-analysis tools.
• Document findings and prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Collaborate with cell-line development scientists, bioprocess engineers, analytical scientists, and computational biologists.
• Comply with laboratory safety and data-integrity requirements.

Skills:

• Strong experimental design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques (e.g. aseptic technique, cell transfection, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, molecular cloning, DNA/RNA sequencing, immunoblotting, FACS, microscopy).
• Familiarity with multi-omics study design, bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and systems biology.
• Strong understanding of molecular cell biology fundamentals including DNA replication, transcription, translation, proteostasis, metabolism, cellular stress mechanisms, and their relation to recombinant protein production.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work well and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to experimental rigor, documentation, reproducibility, and scientific integrity.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering, systems biology, or a related field required.
• Zero to two years of relevant laboratory or biotechnology-industry experience.
• Experience with mammalian and/or CHO cell culture, antibody production, multi-omics technologies, molecular perturbation methods, and regulated laboratory environments is preferred.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $27.35 - $30.10/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
