Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a Biotech Research Associate to support CHO and mammalian cell culture experiments, transfections, and sampling. You will explore gene copies, transcript levels, and protein processing while generating data for multi-omics analyses.

You will collaborate across cell-line development, bioprocess engineering, analytical science, and computational biology teams, ensuring rigorous documentation, safety, and reproducibility in a regulated lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biotech/life sciences required.
• 0–2 years of relevant laboratory or biotech-industry experience.
• Mammalian/CHO cell culture experience preferred; multi-omics or antibody production experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct CHO and mammalian cell culture experiments, transfection, passaging and sampling.
• Investigate gene copies, transcript levels, protein folding, assembly, trafficking, secretion and degradation.
• Generate and prepare cell-culture substrates/samples for multi-omics analysis.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical, bioinformatics, and pathway-analysis tools.
• Document results and prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Collaborate with cell-line development, bioprocess engineering, analytical science and computational biology teams.
• Follow laboratory safety, data-integrity, documentation, and reproducibility requirements.
