Job summary

SGS Consulting in Milton, MA seeks a lab technician to support cellular therapy programs, performing aseptic cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular assays under supervision.

Qualifications

• Cellular therapy laboratory experience required.
• Experience with mRNA/DNA extraction and qRT-PCR/ddPCR.
• Experience with ELISA and pluripotent stem cells beneficial.
• Good Documentation Practices mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing aseptic cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular assays
• Testing development samples on a routine basis to support process/formulation activities
• Documenting work and analyzing experimental results
• Reporting results out to project lead accurately and on time
• Support general lab maintenance including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance.

• Cell therapy, Mammalian cell culture, Flow cytometry
• CMC, QC, batch record, Cell therapy, qpcr/ddcpr, mRNA
• 1 year of hands‑on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture
• 1 year of hands‑on experience with flow cytometry
• Be able to follow established techniques/SOPs in aseptic cell culture, cell and molecular biology to generate and analyze data in an accurate and reproducible manner.
• Capable of maintaining accurate records in electronic laboratory notebooks or paper forms/SOPs, appropriate databases, and inventories in a timely manner.
