Job summary

Winchester Interconnect, located in California, is seeking a Molding Technician to set up, operate, and maintain molding machines in line with customer specs and industry standards.

You will read blueprints, start up and process molding equipment, debug molds, and work with Process Engineers to improve safety, quality and productivity on the shop floor.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience in manufacturing and molding machine operation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Responsibilities

  • Initial start-up and processing of all molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Participate in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds
  • Ability to debug and take corrective action on molds and processes as necessary
  • Work with tooling and Process Engineer as required
  • Communicate clearly and consistently across the organization in a way that fosters employee engagement at all levels
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure priorities are met
  • Identify knowledge gaps and provide training to improve performance
  • Focus on driving safety, quality, and productivity

Position Summary

As our Molding Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines, in compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 2 year’s minimum experience in manufacturing and molding machine operation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Pay Transparency

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
