Job summary

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, seeks a Mold Technician for our Menomonie, Wisconsin facility. The role supports manufacturing operations with 12-hour day shifts, including a 4% shift differential on base pay. Building: Oaklawn.

You will set up, operate and maintain molding processes to meet validated guidelines and production demands. Responsibilities include using molding machines, vision systems, and related equipment; troubleshooting; and communicating across shifts to ensure continuity.

Qualifications

• 6 months of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Injection Molding.
• Basic understanding of process control and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and change over production jobs in accordance with process control capabilities and quoted standards.
• Operate molding machines and related equipment such as lift trucks and cranes as required.
• Follow process docs and databases for routine setup and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate molding processes to update techniques, improve quality, safety and productivity.
• Communicate important info to Mold Techs on the next shift.

Phillips-Medisize is seeking a Mold Technician to support manufacturing operations for our Menomonie, Wisconsin facility.

Shifts Available: D1 12 Hour day shift 5am-5pm, receive a 4% Shift Differential ON TOP of your base pay!

What You Will Do

• Set up, start up, and change over production jobs consistent with process control capabilities and quoted standards. May include robotics, part pickers and vision systems
• Setup and operate job related equipment including molding machines, lift trucks, overhead cranes, and power mold carts.
• Use proper process procedure documentation and databases for performing routine set up functions and troubleshooting work
• Evaluate molding processes in order to update techniques and improve quality, safety and productivity efficiencies. Ensure the processes fall within validated windows or within the established guidelines.
• Communicate important information to Mold Techs on next shift
• Work with production group to meet production demands
• Some programs may have vision requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 6 months of Mechanical/Troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Injection Molding

What Will Put You Ahead

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical
• Experience working in SAP
