Job summary

ETRIA Manufacturing USA Inc., a Ricoh family company based in Lawrenceville, GA, is seeking a Molding Engineer Technician. Under supervision of maintenance and engineering, you will lead and implement manufacturing projects, create procedures, troubleshoot systems, and support continuous improvement in molding operations.

Required are 6+ years in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting in molding or plastic injection, ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and OEE/FPE KPIs, and strong

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical/mechanical equipment/machinery in molding or plastic injection.
• Experience leading projects with a focus on process improvements.
• Ability to read and understand electrical codes, electronic drawings, mechanical drawings as well as read blueprints.
• Experience calculating OEE and FPE, and other performance yields/KPIs.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Willing and able to work overtime, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair molding manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing equipment and operations (OEE, FPE) and write summaries showing deviations or improvements.
• Investigate quality issues and prepare technical reports.
• Lead improvement projects.
• Create procedures and one-point manuals.
• Maintain logs of malfunctions and corrective actions.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble, and maintain equipment and systems.
• Train production and maintenance staff on work standards and procedures.
