Role Description The Molding Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Stevens, PA, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the molding department. This role plans and coordinates molding workflows, assigns tasks, and ensures that production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met. The Molding Supervisor leads and mentors molding team members, provides training on equipment and processes, and supports performance management and continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include monitoring equipment and materials, collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams, and contributing to problem-solving efforts related to casting defects or process issues. The Molding Supervisor also maintains accurate production records, helps implement process improvements, and supports the successful delivery of castings.

Qualifications

• Experience in aluminum foundry or metal casting operations, including molding processes and related production workflows.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, quality standards, and basic lean or continuous improvement principles.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience, with skills in coaching, training, and performance management in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret process documentation, and work instructions related to casting and molding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, maintenance, and quality.
• Comfort with basic computer use for production reporting, documentation, and communication; experience with manufacturing systems is beneficial.
• Physical ability to work in a foundry environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials within safe limits.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role in a foundry or heavy manufacturing setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training in manufacturing, metallurgy, or related fields is an advantage.
