Job summary

Havis is seeking a Setup Technician - Molding in Ivyland, PA to set up machines per requirements, ensure mold installation and water lines are correct, and maintain molds and lines per data sheets.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in manufacturing with injection molding experience preferred, and the ability to read instructions, communicate effectively, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Plastic Molding Injection or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year in an injection molding environment as a Setup Technician preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to tolerate long periods of standing; lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Setup all scheduled machines efficiently per requirements.
• Follow proper mold installation procedures.
• Ensure water lines are connected and water flow is adequate.
• Start up and process mold per molding data sheet.
• Wipe molds, blow out water lines, and apply protectant on removal.
• Store molds properly and mark for maintenance or storage.
• Keep mold bases and accessories clean and organized.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.
