Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking a hands-on Molding Process Technician to support the full molding process in Morehead, KY. You will set up equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure high-quality molded parts in a safe, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, preferably in molding, with the ability to read setup documentation and operate tooling such as material feed systems, hot runners, and injection presses. ISO/TS 16949 & ISO 14001 familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing setting experience preferred.
Experience interpreting and applying documentation for molding equipment setup (feed systems, mold tools, hot runners, valve gates, de-gaters, work cell machines).
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Comply with plant safety and ISO/TS 16949 & ISO 14001 regulations and procedures.
Set up material feed systems and mold tools according to specifications.
Configure and program hot runner panels, injection presses, and valve gate units.
Set up degaters, end of arm tooling, and related work cell equipment.
Verify and release conforming parts at production startup.
Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to ensure high-quality parts.
Collaborate with engineering on tool trials to minimize scrap.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
