Job summary

RESRG Automotive in Covington, GA is seeking a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Setter to join our manufacturing team. You will install molds, troubleshoot presses, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 1–3 years of injection molding experience, strong communication, and the ability to work nights with occasional weekends. You will uphold 5S standards, support continuous improvement, and collaborate across plant teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Set molds in injection molding presses efficiently and safely, aiming to reduce mold change times
• Troubleshoot molding issues and assist press operators as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized molding area following 5S principles
• Provide relief for associates as required
• Own mold area equipment, molds, and work cells
• Follow plant policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Demonstrate ownership of quality, productivity, and safety goals
• Continuously improve work areas, tools, and equipment
• Develop knowledge within the molding department and other production areas
• Complete production tasks per ISO/TS 16949 procedures and work instructions

RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Setter in our Covington, Georgia location!

The shift will be 10:50 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends based on business needs.

Your Job

An Injection Mold Setter facilitates efficient and safe production by installing molds, troubleshooting machinery, and upholding quality standards. The role demands high personal accountability for safety, teamwork, and the continuous improvement of the entire manufacturing plant.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Set molds in injection molding presses in an efficient, safe, and calculated manner while continuously striving to reduce mold change times.
• Troubleshoot molding issues and assist associates at the press as questions or issues arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized molding area using 5S principles.
• Provide relief for associates as required.
• Take ownership of mold area equipment, molds, and work cells—this responsibility extends to the entire plant.
• Follow all plant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Demonstrate personal ownership of company, plant, and departmental goals regarding quality, productivity, and safety.
• Continuously improve work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Develop and enhance knowledge and skills within the molding department and throughout other production areas.
• Complete production tasks according to ISO/TS 16949 procedures and work instructions.

What Will Put You Ahead

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and use fine motor skills.
• Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or sit.li>
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on occasion.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must be able to work in fluctuating temperatures and indoor/outdoor environments as needed.
