RESRG Automotive in Covington, Georgia is seeking a Production Operator to join our team. You will work in Injection Molding or Metal Stamping, supporting daily production schedules and ensuring quality in final components.

As part of a fast-growing global supplier, you will operate manufacturing equipment, prepare finished products for shipping, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Production Operator in our Covington, Georgia location!

Your Job

Your departmental placement will be determined based on business needs. Departments will be in Injection Molding, where plastic is melted and injected into molds to create finished automotive components, or in Metal Stamping, where metal is cut, bent, and formed into parts using presses and vinyl may be applied and formed into specific shapes for final production.

The shift times are all Monday through Friday, with mandatory weekends which are based business needs
  • 3rd Shift: 10:50 PM to 7:00 AM, $15.00 am hour and then a $1.25 shift differential
What You Will Do In Your Role
  • Operate and lightly troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Prepare finished products for shipping and distribution
  • Follow daily production schedules and resolve quality issues as needed
  • Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and safe
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability and willingness to work, including occasional mandatory overtime and weekend work
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling in hot, cold, noisy, or humid environments
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including following protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using technology for work-related tasks
  • Strong attendance and punctuality are critical expectations for this position.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
Physical Requirements
  • Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a hot, cold, noisy, or humid industrial environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required, including frequent use of hands, wrists, and forearms to operate equipment, handle materials, and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to wear Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) at all times (i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel toe boots).
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate around machinery safely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Must remain alert to surroundings and follow all safety protocols at all times.
