Job summary

NEXXTA is seeking a Process Technician for 2nd shift to support molding operations, including set-up and troubleshooting of presses and secondary equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, process controls, and basic SPC data to maintain quality.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, RJG Systematic I certification, and 3–4 years of related experience. Teamwork and mechanical reasoning are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• RJG Systematic I Scientific Molding certification or equivalent.
• Three to four years of related work experience.
• Must be able to work and function in a team environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical reasoning related to understanding equipment.
• Knowledge of Engel equipment and processing of automotive trim parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of all set-up procedures and all molding machine functions.
• Set-up, start, and troubleshoot presses using established process control methods.
• Set-up straight forward open and closed molds as well as more complex molds with multiple core pulls, auxiliary hydraulics, and manifolds.
• Set-up and troubleshoot secondary equipment.
• Initiate corrective action for jobs running out of standard cycle.
• Set limit switches, timers, and process controls on presses.
• Change end of arm tooling and load robot program into press.
• Perform basic robotic troubleshooting on end of arm tooling.
