Job summary

Schneider Electric in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Process Operator to tend automated and semi-automated manufacturing machinery and support line operations. The role involves rotating tasks between workstations every four hours and maintaining production pace to meet targets.

Responsibilities include operating AMI/ANDI/HOM AMI lines and the Packing Cells, ensuring quality while following procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to meet production requirements and maintain required part quality.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
• Ability to read, understand and follow procedures for inspecting breakers.
• Ability to communicate including verbal and written English.
• Ability to work safely, communicate effectively with supervisors and technical personnel, use good judgment, and work well around others.
• Ability to cope with stressful situations, follow policies and procedures, solve problems, and maintain full commitment to the task.
• Ability to utilize good time management skills and multitask without constant supervision.
• Constant standing and walking for up to an eight (8) hour shift.
• Occasional lifting of boxes, tubs and totes weighing 10-25 lbs typically from waist-to-waist height.

Responsibilities

• Tends machinery and operating automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Rotates tasks across workstations during a shift with four-hour increments.
• Maintains production pace to reduce bottlenecks and meet targets.
• Operates lines such as AMI, ANDI, HOM AMI and the Packing Cells across lines A, B & C.
