Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred; equivalent hands-on molding experience will also be considered.
• Experience with injection molding, tooling trials, process development, troubleshooting, scrap reduction, or equipment optimization.
• Working knowledge of scientific molding principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and data-driven problem solving.
• Clear communication for documenting processes and supporting teams.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced manufacturing with balancing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable molding operations and reinforce safety expectations.
• Improve molding performance through scrap reduction and cycle-time optimization.
• Launch and validate new molds through tooling trials and process development.
• Develop and maintain robust molding processes using DOE and process windows.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Create and maintain process books, setup docs, and trial reports.
• Train and mentor molding technicians across shifts.
• Coordinate tool changes and press support.
• Ensure environmental, safety, quality and work instruction compliance.
