Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Mold Department Manager in our Newbern, TN location. The Mold Manager will have overall responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating plant molding activities and will report directly to the Operations Manager.

The role emphasizes ensuring on-time production, optimizing molding processes, reviewing mold designs, and coordinating tool shop repairs.

Qualifications

5-8 years of progressive experience in production management.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of TS-16949 standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and coordinate plant molding activities.
Ensure on-time production and align schedules with production plans.
Determine best molding processes and optimize cycles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Review mold designs based on customer specifications.
Collaborate with Engineering on tool designs for optimal cycles and quality.
Monitor mold tooling through the shop, including repairs and maintenance.
Train associates on quality requirements and maintain adherence to quality policy.
Contribute to assembly requirements for labor and gross margin of orders.
