Job summary

Texas Injection Molding LLC in Houston is seeking a machine operator to tend presses, inspect parts and support packaging to meet production goals. You will read manuals, follow work instructions and perform in-process quality checks.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and a readiness to participate in job development training on a 3rd shift schedule (Mon-Fri 11:00 pm - 7:30 am).

Qualifications

• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to make timely fact-based decisions.
• Ability to read and interpret company forms.

Responsibilities

• Tend machines to meet production goals, including opening gate and removal of parts, trimming parts and quality check before packing.
• Perform in-process inspection per MCP; perform secondary processes and rework as necessary; operate machines as assigned and assist at other workstations.
• Responsible for production reporting: number of good parts, bad parts, downtime; package products per MCP; read and follow operating manuals, work instructions, process alerts and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at each press; ensure safety and 5S housekeeping.

Education

• High School Education or GED unless approved by Management
