Job summary

Greif, a global leader in packaging solutions, is seeking a Day Shift: Molding Material Handler in Illinois. Under direct supervision, you will operate routine production machinery, perform setup, and monitor quality. Rotating 2-2-3 day shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) with weekends/holidays as required.

Typically requires a high school diploma and up to 2 years of relevant experience. You will maintain logs, ensure proper machine alignment, and follow safety regulations in a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Carry out routine activities to produce the required quantity within specifications.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools to meet quality standards.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced.
• Report errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Perform basic adjustments and maintenance and keep area clean and safe.
