Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Machine Operator at our Tifton, GA facility to support the production of flooring products. The role focuses on quality inspections, parameter adjustments, and safe, efficient material handling throughout shifts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing experience, forklift experience, and basic computer skills (Excel). Strong communication and ability to read manuals are required for this 12‑hour shift environment with PPE and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior manufacturing experience.
Forklift experience required (1+ year preferred).
Experience with paper or chemical handling preferred.
Computer literacy including Excel.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections and testing to identify defects.
Learn and apply correct parameters to minimize defect opportunities and maximize output.
Adjust production line based on automated system feedback and product specifications.
Adhere to documentation standards and production procedures.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment for material flow.
Follow all safety policies and wear PPE as required.
Attend training as deemed necessary by supervision.
Follow established SOPs and perform housekeeping duties.
