Job Title: Molding Operator- Injection Molding (Minimum 1 year of experience)

Location:Phoenix, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time

Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Molding Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating molding presses, inspecting products for quality, maintaining production logs, and assisting with overall department upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate molding presses and remove finished parts from molds.

• Inspect molded products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Record production numbers and maintain daily logs accurately.

• Lift and move materials and finished products (up to 30 lbs.) safely.

• Use scales to weigh materials and transfer into totes.

• Remove old labels and create new labels with proper lot information.

• Notify warehouse team when totes are completed for verification and storage.

• Respond to machine alarms and perform minor troubleshooting of presses and robotic tooling.

• Assist with press start-up, shut-down, and changeovers.

• Mix materials according to work orders; move barrels (up to 50 lbs.) using dolly or cart.

• Purge, clean, and maintain presses; sweep/mop floors and clean workstations.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), QA policies, and department SOPs.

• Provide back-up support during employee breaks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

• Good verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Familiarity with 5S and housekeeping standards in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols.

• Willingness to learn machine troubleshooting and production processes.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work on your feet for long periods.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
