Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Engineer II – Molding in Houston, TX to develop production materials, equipment, and technologies. You will conduct research, feasibility tests, and process design within our Manufacturing Facility in Houston.

Key activities include molding engineering support, process optimization, validation roadmaps, and cross‑functional quality deliverables. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, English fluency, onsite work hours, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs).
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Work Hours: Monday – Friday – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Location: Onsite in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Support molding engineering and validation activities across new and existing programs.
• Assist in analyzing injection molding parameters and process optimization.
• Support quality systems and CAPA investigations to ensure cross‑functional alignment.
• Develop and execute validation roadmaps and ensure timely completion of tasks.
