US Farathane Orion is seeking a full-time Molding Manager to lead and direct continuous process and tooling improvements within the facility in Illinois. This role focuses on optimizing molding operations, implementing improvements, and guiding cross-functional teams.

Strong leadership and extensive molding experience are essential for driving cost reductions and productivity gains. The position demands deep knowledge of injection molding, process engineering, and project management, with travel

Qualifications

• Three+ years leadership experience preferred.
• Ten+ years in process engineering, tooling and process improvement.
• Working knowledge of customer functional performance requirements.
• Strong understanding of MRP, quality control, purchasing, and accounting.
• Lean manufacturing experience a plus; Kepner-Trego, 5 Why, Six Sigma problem solving skills.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current process and GAP analysis from global standards.
• Assist team with identifying process improvements and cost reduction opportunities to include scrap and usage.
• Responsible for equipment installation, tooling design, documentation, and assessment.
• Train and implement product and process improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues for new and existing processes.
• Communicate standards and troubleshooting globally.
