Molding Machine Operator
Location: Marion, NY
Pay: $20.83 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in manufacturing? We are seeking a Molding Machine Operator to join our production team in Marion, NY. In this hands‑on role, you'll operate molding equipment, ensure product quality, and contribute to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
What You'll Do
- Operate, load, and unload molding machines and production presses
- Set up equipment according to production specifications and work instructions
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process
- Load oven racks and move materials for processing
- Prepare molded products for machining by cutting, sizing, and inspecting materials
- Perform secondary operations including trimming, threading, notching, and assembly support
- Conduct visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete production records, labor tracking, and related documentation accurately
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with industrial machinery and production equipment
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
