Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering specialist to lead mold process development and validation for disposable medical devices. You will plan and supervise projects, create prototypes, and drive design improvements in a cross-functional team.

The role requires deep knowledge of mold tooling, validation protocols, and process development in a medical device setting, with strong collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Education and experience aligned with engineering or technical field related to the department, with extensive related experience.
• Knowledge of the medical device mold process development and validation in molding/disposable device environments.
• Experience with CAD software and design concepts, plus ability to drive design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise work of engineers or technicians on multiple projects.
• Develop new designs and techniques, and contribute to prototypes and ECNs.
• Generate validation protocols and reports for mold tooling and processing validations.
