Role Description The Molder Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Portland, ME. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring molding machines to produce flooring, trim, and other millwork components from reclaimed and antique lumber. Day-to-day tasks include reading work orders, selecting and preparing lumber, adjusting machine settings, performing quality checks on finished pieces, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The Molder Operator will perform basic machine maintenance, report equipment issues, and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role also requires accurate measurement, documentation of production, and safe handling of materials in a busy shop environment.
