Job summary

South Shore Millwork in Norton, MA is seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Molder Operator to operate and maintain a Weinig 6-Head Molder in our premium millwork facility. The ideal candidate will bring sharp attention to detail and hands-on experience with architectural woodwork and precision machining.

You will read shop drawings, set up cutter heads, monitor quality, and collaborate with the production team to meet schedules while upholding the highest craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience preferred but willing to train.
• Strong understanding of architectural millwork and profiles.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and profile templates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust a Weinig 6-head molder for production runs.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, profiles, and work orders.
• Select, install, and align cutter heads and tooling to meet specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production.
• Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
