Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in mold or tool repair.
• Experience with reading blueprints and using measuring instruments.
• Experience with jigs and fixtures to repair molded parts.

Responsibilities

• Trains personnel in proper use of equipment.
• Reads blueprints and builds repair parts for molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Maintains repair supplies such as pins, springs, and related materials.
• Modifies molds, jigs, and fixtures to correct problems.
• Inspects changes made by outside mold vendors to ensure standards.
• Performs skilled work with close tolerances beyond the cleaner's level.
• Maintains records of repairs, modifications, and inventory.
• Performs special projects and other tasks as directed.
