Mayhew Tools is seeking a Mold Technician to install, set up, and maintain molds in our molding room. You will operate injection molding machines, align molds, and ensure water, hydraulics and air feeds are correctly connected. You will also log changes and keep a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years as a Die Setter, and on-the-job training. Forklift operation and safety awareness are important as part of daily duties.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of prior Die Setter experience is required.
• On-the-job training is provided.

Mansioni

• Install and remove molds from injection molding machines per standards.
• Set up machines by positioning molds and connecting water, hydraulics and air.
• Perform lockout procedures and purge materials.
• Use correct tools when placing molds in machines safely.
• Clean platens and rust off surfaces with mold cleaner.
• Record tool changes and production logs; maintain cleanliness.
