Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in North Carolina is seeking a Mold Setter Technician to help keep our molding operations running smoothly. You will set up, optimize production runs, and perform quality checks on molds and machines to support high-volume manufacturing.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, 3–5 years mold experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of polypropylene and other resins; you must be able to troubleshoot, document processes, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Min of High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years hands-on mold setter experience.
• Technical mold knowledge and material knowledge.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain safety.
• Good verbal & written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize production runs for molds.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds and machines.
• Troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Document production processes and QA data.
• Respond to and correct machine stoppages.
• Other duties as assigned.
