Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mold Technician in Hatfield, PA for an on-site, permanent role. The candidate will operate and maintain mold-making tools, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production quality in a fast-paced facility.

The ideal person has 2+ years in molding, strong blueprint reading, forklift cert, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a high-volume environment. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar manufacturing mold role.
• Experience with mold-making tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on molds and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and quick problem solving.
• Read and interpret blueprints for mold production.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it on hire.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma required; related degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mold-making tools (lathe, mill, grinder).
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds to ensure longevity.
• Troubleshoot mold and equipment issues.
• Read blueprints to ensure accurate mold production.
• Use forklift to transport materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and quality.
• Follow safety rules and keep a clean work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of molding processes.
