Dometic Marine’s Sparta, TN facility specializes in roto-molded tanks and marine components. We are seeking a Mold Shop Maintenance technician to repair and maintain production molds, diagnose issues, weld, and ensure quality and safety.

You will read blueprints, use precision tools, and support inventory and housekeeping in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Mold Shop Lead and requires hands-on mechanical skills, teamwork, and commitment to safety and quality standards in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Up to 3 years of mold maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift heavier weights from 30 to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and smell.

Responsibilities

• Repair molds to a “like new” condition.
• Identify problems with a mold from looking at a part.
• Perform slight modifications to a mold component.
• Welds using TIG, MIG, and Stick welders.
• Operate heavy equipment (Shear and Break Press).
• Read blueprints.
• Use measuring equipment (Caliper and Micrometer).
• Report deviations with welders, shear, break press, and other machines to the mold shop supervisor.
