Job summary

HellermannTyton Milwaukee is seeking a Set-Up Technician to operate mold setup processes on presses, perform mold changes, and ensure area cleanliness in line with quality and EH&S standards.

The role requires reading diagrams, using hand tools, and lifting up to 75 lbs with ability to pull 120 lbs; you will support training, maintain equipment, and follow detailed instructions to support production goals. Regular overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 120 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work for up to 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install and water molds on presses.
• Housekeeping and returning supplies to proper locations.
• Remove parts from previous jobs.
• Secure water lines to prevent rubbing or bursting.
• Shutdown machines using the correct purge technique.
• Support certifications and required documentation.
