Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mold Setter for the second shift (3:15 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) to perform mold setup and changeovers on plastic injection molding equipment. The role requires reliable execution of mold mounting/dismounting, hydraulic connections, and line-ups, with hands-on troubleshooting.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy in measurements, and collaboration with the shift foreman to maintain production schedules. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or higher.
• Able to read and write; follow verbal and written instructions; measure accurately.
• At least 2 years of mold set-up experience on plastic injection machines or equivalent; tow motor experience.
• Must have a current valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove molds in the injection molding process.
• Transport molds to/from presses using tow motor or crane.
• Perform mold set-up connections, water lines, airlines, thermolators, hoses, and hydraulic lines.
• Start production, adjust presses, and perform start-ups as directed.
• Troubleshoot mold/press issues and assist foreman with scheduling and documentation.
