Job summary

DaVinci Roofscapes in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking an Experienced Mold Technician to operate and maintain injection molds for sample and production runs. You will document repairs, setup equipment, and monitor cycle times to ensure part quality.

A safe, clean work environment is required and training for forklift/overhead crane may be provided. Candidates should have a valid driver license and be able to follow documented procedures.

• Valid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Performs mold changes when available
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Documents all mold repairs, mold locations, and planned repairs
• Sets up injection molds and related equipment for sample and production runs
• Starts up and cycles in mold in accordance with documented cycles and startup procedures
• Troubleshoots and corrects problem processes
• Documents and reports mold and equipment related problems
• Documents daily events in technician log
• Monitors cycle times and part quality
• Documents and records cycle information for future use assignments.
• Inspects molds to identify the cause of quality issues or defects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Spreadsheet Software (Excel) and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook).

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Forklift and Overhead Crane Certifications.
