Westlake Chemical is seeking a Mold Technician to repair, maintain, and set up molds for production. The role involves changing mold components, inspecting tooling, and keeping the shop safe and organized.
The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, technical training, and 2+ years in a tool room or metal/plastics environment, with strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of injection molds.

Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Repair, maintain, and set up molds so they are available for production.
Must be physically able to perform all tasks and duties as described throughout this job description; ability to bend, stoop and carry heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Sufficiently mobile to function in a shop floor environment that includes the ability to crawl, kneel, lift, pull, sit, stand and walk for shifts working up to 12 hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
