Job summary

Rainbow Restoration is seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to perform mold remediation, containment setup, demolition, cleaning, and restoration for residential and commercial customers within the assigned territory. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys hands-on work, and cares about helping customers through stressful property situations.

The team emphasizes hands-on training, leadership development, and opportunities for overtime and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Previous mold remediation and restoration experience preferred.
• Ability to pass drug test and extensive background screening.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced emergency response environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold inspections, assessments, and remediation services on residential and commercial properties.
• Develop and implement mold remediation plans according to IICRC standards and company procedures.
• Set up containment areas and establish proper engineering controls for remediation projects.
• Remove, clean, and dispose of mold-contaminated materials safely and efficiently.
• Utilize industry-standard equipment and remediation techniques for mold removal.
• Operate restoration and remediation equipment including HEPA filtration devices, negative air machines, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools.
• Work with power tools and perform demolition as needed throughout remediation projects.
• Respond to water, mold, and other restoration-related losses according to company procedures and IICRC standards.
